Built by a trader, for traders
Tradexis started with a frustration every prop firm trader knows: you can't get funded without proving consistency, and you can't prove consistency without backtesting hundreds of setups — but the tools to do it well either cost a fortune, lock the good features behind paywalls, or bolt a journal onto someone else's chart.
I'm Mayank Saini, the founder of Tradexis. I'm a finance major at Stevens Institute of Technology and a prop firm trader. I built Tradexis because I was living that problem — grinding backtests to pass evaluations, juggling a charting tool, a spreadsheet journal, and no real way to know if my setups actually held up. Nothing on the market did all of it well, and nothing understood the way I actually trade.
So I built the tool I wished existed.
What makes Tradexis different
Most backtesting and journaling tools rent their charts from a third party. Tradexis is built on its own professional charting engine — which means it can do things a rented chart can't.
The biggest of those is Tradexis Coach: an intelligent coach that reads your charts with precision, identifies your setups — fair value gaps, order blocks, breaks of structure, liquidity sweeps, OTE zones — and marks them directly on the chart. It reviews your backtest sessions and helps you find and fix the recurring mistakes standing between you and a funded account.
Underneath it is a full platform built for the prop trader's workflow:
- Backtesting / replay on real, institutional-grade market data — bar by bar, across forex, indices, and gold, with deep intraday history.
- Trade journaling that mirrors how prop firms actually evaluate you — win rate, drawdown, consistency, P&L.
- Prop firm tracking so you always know where you stand against your evaluation's rules.
- Tradexis Coach tying it together with chart-aware AI coaching.
Who it's for
Tradexis is built for prop firm traders preparing for FTMO, Apex, Topstep, and similar evaluations; for ICT and Smart Money Concepts traders refining their edge; and for any serious retail trader who wants professional-grade tools to backtest, journal, and improve — without the institutional price tag.
It's freemium. You can backtest for free during the beta. Everything else — including Tradexis Coach — is on the Pro plan.
Where it's going
Tradexis is built in the open, by a trader who uses it every day. The goal is simple: the best place for serious traders to backtest their strategy, sharpen their discipline, and get funded — with an AI coach that actually understands what's on your chart.
